INPS counts on its members to collaborate and co-ordinate local, national and international projects related to Physics. Our current member societies comprises of 3 Local Committees (LCs) and around 20 Individual Members (IMs).
We have a total of 150 students and counting across India. The map is a demographic that shows the diversity of members in India.

Founded in 2019 was the first local committee that started this initiative. It was started in Shiv Nadar University by a group of bachelor students who hosted School Day.

Founded in Sept 2023 by a group of DU students with the initiative taken up by Anant Singh, who also served as the president of TC India, interim EC (May to August 2025).

Our most recent LC founded in 2025 April, by a group of bachelor students from Manipal Academy of Higher Academy (MAHE) lead by Devangi Singh.
Currently INPS has members across 11 different states: Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat, Himachal Pradesh, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Kerala, Maharashtra, Punjab, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, West Bengal.
