The Membership Manager is dedicated to fostering a vibrant, compliant, and growing member community. This role oversees all aspects of the member lifecycle, from recruitment and registration to engagement and adherence to constitutional principles, particularly Article 3.
Membership Administration & Onboarding
Manages the entire registration and onboarding process for all member categories, including Individual Members, Local Committees (LCs), and Honorary Members.
Provides direct assistance and guidance to prospective groups on the formalities of establishing a new LC, ensuring full compliance with Article 3.
Maintains an accurate and confidential database of all member records and their contact information.
Oversees the formal process for approving new members, including communicating proposals via the agenda and conducting polls at the General Body Meeting (GBM).
Community Growth & Engagement
Develops and executes strategies to attract new potential members and partner institutions, aiming to increase the activity and collaboration of INPS and IAPS within India.
Organizes and hosts networking and community-building events (both online and offline) to foster a strong and connected membership base.
Stays informed of all LC activities and, in collaboration with the Outreach Manager, compiles the comprehensive annual activity report for presentation at the GBM.
Compliance & Governance
Serves as the primary guardian of the organization's Code of Conduct and constitutional provisions among the general membership.
Acts as the designated point of contact for any member reporting a violation of rules.
Manages the formal process for addressing violations by communicating issues to the Executive Committee (EC) and initiating a vote for any required disciplinary action.
