The Vice President is not elected in the AGM, this position is filled by one of the EC members elected internally besides President, Secretary & Treasurer.
The Vice-President serves as the primary deputy to the President, ensuring leadership continuity and supporting the Executive Committee's (EC) operations.
Interim Presidential Duties
Temporary Absence: Chairs meetings in the temporary absence of the President.
Succession: Assumes all presidential duties if the President resigns or is removed from office. In this event, the Vice-President's primary responsibility is to convene a General Body Meeting (GBM) as soon as possible to organize the election of a new President.
Term Limitation: The interim role is strictly temporary and is not to be held longer than necessary to facilitate the election of a new President.
Assigned Responsibilities
At the President's request, the Vice-President undertakes representative tasks, assists with external relations, and supports the general operations of the EC.
Election and Eligibility
Election Process: The Vice-President is elected from within the existing Executive Committee by a simple majority vote.
Eligibility: The roles of President, Treasurer, and Secretary are ineligible for nomination to the position of Vice-President.
