An organization can only be as great as the members that make it up. One of the reasons INPS has potential to be the biggest physics community is the high caliber and sheer number of the physics students that each play an important part in the organization. INPS is a federation of member societies spread throughout the world and we will continue to spread until we reach every physics student, everywhere. At the core of INPS is a singular goal, to foster national, international partnerships and camaraderie with physics students across the India AND the world. Implicit in that charge is that we reach physics students around the world. That is where the Membership Working Group comes in.
As a member of the Membership Working Group, you will work with the Membership Manager to form and foster new relationships with physics students from all over India. We work with the existing Local Committees, to ensure good communication with INPS and that all our Member Committees are in good health, with a strong foundation. When a Committee needs help with ensuring continuity of their committee or just needs advice, the Members Working Group is there to help.
Our goal is to increase engagement with INPS members and foster a sense belonging to the INPS community. Here is the list of activities that the Working Group Organizes:
